Collection boxes have been sent home with the children
Since the early days of the 20th Century, children in the Archdiocese have helped raise funds for Father Hudson's Care throughout Lent. Children use their box to save the money they would normally spend on sweets and treats, thereby practising abstinence and almsgiving.
