St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

Year 5 have been invited to Lichfield Library next Wednesday 19 September from 1.30 pm - 3 pm.  This visit is not chargeable and comes under the local visits for consent.

This is a wonderful opportunity for Year 5 as they will be meeting with the artist, Jennifer Collier, and they are going to be making large poppies that will be a central part of a temporary art installation commemorating the end of World War I,  This art work will then be displayed on the county building, Staffordshire Place, in November.

This opportunity for sharing stories and craft skills is to encourage inter-generational activity.

We do, however, need some volunteers to help walk the children to and from the library.  Please could you email the office if you can help.
