Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced Catering Manager to join and lead our established team and manage the development of our catering operation.

  • You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a range of creative food concepts for the menu and service; to be successful for this position you must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of practical cooking in a large-scale environment.
  • Candidates must be motivated and have a passion for quality coupled with the highest standards in food production, presentation, and service.
  • You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of catering legislation, have budget management experience and good IT skills.
  • You must have supervisory experience and be able to demonstrate good leadership and motivational skills. 
  • Effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer care are essential, as is the ability to work and lead as part of a team.

We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment.

Salary:  £25,583 pro rata per annum - £13.26 per hour

Scale:  Grade 4

Vacancy Type:  Term time only - 38.60 weeks – 44.59 weeks paid inc holiday pay

Number of hours:  PT 24.00 hours per week Monday to Friday
